Obama – under my plan electricity prices will skyrocket

Since I’m a tree-hugging far left liberal, what Obama said doesn’t surprise me a bit.

What angers me is his dishonesty. He tells one thing to San Francisco liberals and says something totally different to rural Americans.

Don’t we all love San Francisco? That city brings the truth out of Obama!

And there’s of course Rev. Wright.

Obama reminds me of the bat in an Aesop fable called The Bat, the Birds, and the Beasts

There was a war  between the Birds and the Beasts. When the Birds were winning, the Bat went to the Birds and said “Let me join for I am a Bird.”.  When the Beasts started to gain ground, the Bat went to the Beasts and said “I’ll join you because I am a Beast”.
When peace was made both the Birds and the Beasts turned against him and he had to fly away.
“HE THAT IS NEITHER ONE THING NOR THE OTHER HAS NO FRIENDS.”

Now, replace the Bat with Obama, the Birds with San Francisco liberals or African Americans, the Beasts with the bitter clingy working class people or Caucasians.

The only difference would be the ending. If Obama becomes president, he will show his true colors and will be loved by San Francisco liberals and the African Americans.

I lived in many different countries and I’ve always felt America was the best country.
After all I have chosen to live here by my free will.

But ever since Obama “won”(some would say “stole”) Iowa caucus and the media made it clear that they were and still are in bed with Obama, America has become more like the third world I used to live in.

This election reminds me of the middle eastern countries’ elections.
Voter intimidation, voter fraud, fundraising fraud, vote rigging, intimidating a citizen who dares to ask a question…all the elements of the third world fake elections are so clearly present.
But the scariest factor is the manipulation by the media.
They are repeatedly “reporting” that Obama has already won. This is the third world’s favorite voter suppression trick!

This is exactly what the third world media always do whenever they have an election to suppress opposition voters.
Their meta-message is: It’s a done deal. The leader has already won, so don’t even bother to vote. It’s over!

European Style Socialism: Stale, Stagnant, Stingy

It’s amusing to hear Democrats who have never lived in Europe praise European style socialism and say that Europeans enjoy a higher quality of life.
Every single time I hear this comment, I laugh and then I think to myself maybe I should cry for their ignorance.
I thought America was the party of liberty, while Europe was the party of equality.
There’s nothing more boring than a country where everybody is equal.

I grew up and lived in many different countires, mostly Europe including Holland (the most socialistic country in Europe) not as a visitor from the United States(who has a wayout, who’s not really bound by the European socialistic system) but as an EU citizen and I find their way of life comfortable, satisfactory, safe and BORING!!!
And yes, compared to the life of the people at the bottom of the social pyramid in America, Europeans do have a higher quality of life.
They work to live while Americans live to work.
They know the government will take good care of them and that they don’t have to worry about themselves, so they can be self-centered and lazy!!!They usually work at one company for a long time, so they can see what their future is going to be like. They can make a long-term plan and they can feel safe.
They do have more paid holidays they enjoy “cozy”  holidays suitable for American lower middle class people.

Most of my family members, relatives and friends still live in Europe (mostly in French and German speaking countries).

When they watched Michael Moore’s Sicko, they told me to “come back to Europe because America is such a horrible country.”
They are satisfied with their way of life because most of them have lived their whole life in Europe and they don’t know any better.
Since most of them are typical liberal intellectuals and they’ve never tried to start a business, they just can’t appreciate the limitless opportunities only American can give. They have no idea how easy it is to start a business in America.
There are so many restrictions and so many hurdles to clear to start a new business in Europe, but in America all you need is a great idea and a reasonable amount of money.

But since their definition of happiness is a “safe, comfortable life without any surprises”, no matter how much and how often I explained to them why I prefer America they just don’t get it.

When they heard that a Swedish rock star relocated to a tax haven country, a lot of my friends and relatives complained that he is unpatriotic. I don’t know how they would feel if they happen to become super rich themselves and the government would take away 90% of their income, but they can’t even imagine a situation like that because they are complacent and totally content witt the lives they have.

European style socialism is not bad for those with no aspirations.

But for those with aspirations, those with dreams, those who want more and give more, it’s a deadend.
If you want an opportunity to be successful, you wouldn’t want to live in Europe.
And it’s not just because success is punished with taxes in Europe. It’s because the whole structure is set up to make sure that everybody is equal = nobody will get ahead of others.
There’s a Dutch proverb that goes “A peg that’s stcking out will be hit” That’s the European socilist mentality.

Suppose you have a great business idea and you want to start your own business.
First you’d have to hire a few people, but you’d have to wonder if it’s worth a try.
Because in most of the European countries, unions have so much power and once you hire somebody, you just can’t fire him/her unless you have a water-tight case against him/her.

So if you hire a lazy person, you are stuck with him forever and there’s nothing you can do about it.
And since the longer one is hired the higher pension he gets, the lazy person will not quit voluntarily even if you give him a boring and uninspiring job.

Now imagine a company with  one or a few employees who are totally lazy.
Do you think the rest of the employees will work even fairly hard knowing that their lazy co-workers are getting paid without actually working?
Besides our employees don’t have to work really hard and they won’t to begin with because they know productivity will be just punished by higher taxes.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that no hard-working positive thinker with aspirations can appreciate European style socialism.
We all know the famous Aesop’s fable “The Ant and the Grasshopper.”
The ant won’t work as hard if he knows that no matter how much he works through the summer part of his supplies he stocked up is to be taken away from him by the government to be handed out to the grasshopper who plays the summer away.

Obama recently said “By the end of the week, he(McCain) will be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten. I shared my — I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”

Obama is missing the whole point. Those who don’t support Obama’s socialistic plans are generous and hard-working. We love sharing on our own terms. Unlike the stingy and selfish Obamas and the miser Bidens, we love giving to charity voluntarily. We just don’t want the middleman (the Obamas and the Bidens and the government) to steal what rightfully belongs to us.
Obama calls hard-workers who want to keep their hard-earned money and give a big chunk to charity “selfish”. That’s because 1: Obama has never lived in Europe and is ignorant of the reality of European socialism and 2: because it’s Obama and his ilk who are selfish and  they don’t want to give their money to charity unless the government pries it from their cold dead hands.
Not wanting to punish creativity, productivity and aspirations is not selfishness.
What’s truly selfish is not wanting to give one’s money to charity unless government forces one to do so, and punishing successful people who create jobs for others.

A citizen who asks a reasonable question is crucified,
A reporter who asks tough questions is denied access and ostracized.
Anyone who voted Hillary or who votes for McCain is called a racist.

This is not America I know. This is the third world I used to live in.

Any nation can turn into a police state, so I can actually believe America can turn into dictatoship.
What I cannot believe is that at least half of its citizens are welcoming this trend and that they are liberal Democrats(most of them well educated)!

I used to live under dictatorship.
In the third world, you can NEVER EVER question the leader. You can’t even say a casual joke about the leader and his family.
If you do, your co-workers and neighbors will report your comment to an askari (soldier) and you will be punished.

In the third world, all the news programs are government propaganda and all the movie stars praise the beloved leader.

There, the dissenting adults have to play along and praise the leader because that’s the only way to survive.
Since they are scared of getting caught red handed, they never say anything remotely critical of the leader even when they are with their own family memebers. Because they know they may be bugged., their own brother could be a government informer. (With right amount of money anyone can be bought and be turned into an informer.)
They are so afraid that they don’t even tell their children what they really think and their children grow up to believe that their leader is actually the gift from God!
Mass brainwashing works like a charm.

I live in a college town and almost everybody I know is an Obama supporter.
One of my friends is a former Hillary supporter but he says he pretends to support Obama and he even tells his young child not to say anything bad about Obama because he’s afraid his child will be picked on in a very liberal school she goes to.

There was a time, not so long ago, when we were afraid to speak against Bush. The media were his cheerleaders and any anti-Bush comment was censored and protesters were allowed to protest only in a free speech zone.
But even them, we knew that if we ever get into any trouble we could always count on the ACLU.

Now the ACLU is totally in the tank for Obama and the very same bloggers who decried the censorship by the Bush administration is praising Obama who employs the same Stalinesque tactics.

We all know that an Obama supporter Helen Jones-Kelly, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services OK’d the check on Joe the Plumber, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher.
If Obama gets elected, things like this will be  government officials’ must-do high priority tasks and they will be using government computers legally to dig up dirt on anyone and everyone who dares speak out.

I hope liberal Democrats will wake up from Obama’s mass hyposis before it’s too late.

If Obama gets selected, those who don’t support Obama would have to dig a hole like King Midas’ barber and shout into it “Obama is a fraud!”

Most rich people are Republicans.
Maybe it’s not true but a lot of people think so.
I’ve always accepted this concept as an indisputable hard fact.
And I’ve always believed that it’s because even the most liberal people will end up becoming Republicans when they become rich because once they have money, they won’t like Democrats’ tax policy.
But now that I have witnessed Obama’s attacks on Joe the Plumber, I’m beginning to think that it’s probably the other way around.
It’s not that most rich people are Republicans because they are rich, but it’s more like because they are Republicans they were able to become rich to begin with.

The most telling thing about Obama and Democrats was this comment straight from Obama’s mouth.
“How many plumbers do you know that are making a quarter-million dollars a year?”
He mocked Joe and the crowd laughed.

Obama and his followers clearly  believe that a plumber cannot make a quarter-million dollars a year. They don’t believe a plumber is entitled to make that kind of money. Of course not! Only Harvard grads, doctors and lawyers are entitlted to be rich.

Obama’s wife said ““The truth is most Americans don’t want much. Folks don’t want the whole pie. The truth is, in order to get things like Universal Health care and a revamped Education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”
Does is sound like HOPE to you?
She’s done something remarkable. She makes me miss one of the early Bushisms “We ought to make the pie higher.”
She’s an amazing person. She makes Ann Coulter look reasonable.

Most liberals think only a handful of people can become rich.
What’s really sad is that most of the Democrats think they are not one of them.
Poor liberals think, with government handouts, they can become middle-class, and middle-class liberals think they will always stay middle-class.
They don’t think they might someday become super-rich. They are pessimists and they have this unreasonable victim mentality and they want the American government to rescue them from the misery.
That is why they always fall for that same old  “Tax the rich and tax-cuts for the middle class” con job.
I used to live in Holland where the government spreads the wealth around and I can tell you that Holland is a great country for pessimists.

But Republicans, they believe they will be rich some day
They are optimists. Positive thinkers.
I minored in psychology. You can’t ignore the power of positive thinking. (Of course it has to be backed up by real hard work.)
While liberals think America is a mean country, Republicans still believe in the American dream. And when Republicans are told only 1% can become rich, they think they can be that 1 %.
I hate to use this cliche, but probably Republicans are the-glass-is-half-full type of people and liberals are more likely to think the glass is half empty.

Of course there are some optimistic positive-thinking liberal Democrats. The ones who believe in their dreams and never give up.
I guess they all go to Hollywood.

I have several Arabian friends.
Once I asked one of them why oil rich Arabians were not giving financial aids to fellow Muslims in poor muslim countries like Bangladesh and Afghanistan. This was his answer.

“We do give financial aids to poor Islamic countries. Arabs are generous because being kareem (generous) is the way of Allah. We give zakaat(religious required giving of one’s wealth, Islamic version of alms). But we don’t just give away money. We do more.
If a Bedouin shepherd encounters a beggar, he will ask the beggar to stay with him and work with him. He won’t just give a sheep to the beggar, because when he kills a sheep and eats all its meat, he will be a beggar again.
We are building many hotels and resorts in our country and we hire people from those poor muslim countries. They make more money in a year in our country than they can ever make in their lifetime in their countries.

I have no idea how those poor Muslim workers’ working conditions are. (All I can say is that they can’t be worse than the working conditions in their own countries. I know those countires. I lived in some of those countries.)
But one thing is clear.
Giving them jobs is better than giving them a sheep.

I hope American people are just as proud as Muslims.

Increasingly Mean and Hypocritical Liberals

I can’t stand Palin attacks.
It’s almost like “Let’s teach this hick a lesson. Destroy her, kill her dead, and make sure no pro-life small-town women will  ever run for any high office again.”
I’ve had it with the character assassination of Joe the plumber.
It’s like “Let’s smear this guy till he wishes he was never born to make doubly sure NOBODY will ever question our beloved leader Barack Obama.”
I despise Obama who condones all those nasty attacks and pretends to be above the fray.

Whenever my “Democrat” friends ask me why I don’t support Obama, I give them my most honest answer:
Because I’m a liberal Democrat.
Not one of those fake Democrats who are blindly following Obama, but a true blue Democrat.
I’m as left as it gets. I’m a pro-choice, pro-animal-rights, pro-environment, pro-gay-marriage, pro-separation-of-church-and-state pro-multi-culture, anti-discrimination, anti-bullying, anti-dirty-tricks Democrat.
I believe the best virtue of the liberal Democrats is tolerance.
I believe Democrats are fair, open-minded, inclusive and kind. We have a heart. We are a big-tent party.
That is exactly why I cannot stand Obama and his followers’ mean-spiritied attacks on Sarah, Joe, Cindy and Sen. John McCain.

Don’t we, the liberal Democrats, always proudly say that we are fair, open-minded, tolerant and inclusive?
Don’t we appreciate different cultures and different values?
If muslims try to build a mosque from which they blast azaan (call to prayer) in a town in America and some residents complain, we, the liberal Democrats, will be lining up for the muslims to defend their right to pray.
We will do so because we believe in diversity, we celebrate our differences and we respect all religions and all cultures (except the ones that are unspeakably inhumane, violent or racist.)
When Rev. Wright said what he said, we, the liberal Democrats, defended his freedom of speech and his right to think whatever he wants to think.
We did so because we believe in free speech/free will/free thoughts.

But unfortunately, most liberal Democrats don’t extend the same courtesy to evangelical Christians and Republicans.
We defend a high schooler’s right to dye her hair pink, but we ridicule Palin’s hair-do.
We defend a person who wears an anti-Bush T-shirt, but we call a teen who wears McCain/Palin T-shirt a “racist”.
We praise abortion-right activist stars but we laugh at musicians who believe in abstinence and wear promise rings.

I grew up in many different countries and I have friends all over the world. I learned in early childhood that the only way to get along with people with different backgrounds is to respect their culture and values.

In North Carolina, Gov. Palin said “We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, um, very, um, pro-America areas of this great nation. “

Jon Stewart took that comment personally and said:
“She said that small towns, that’s the part of the country she really likes going to because that’s the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: fuck you.”

This is the same Jon Stewart who unabashedly praises Obama who is willing to meet with rogue dictators without pre-conditions and whose initial response to Russia’s invasion of Geogia was “let them talk.”
If he admires Obama that much, why can’t he follow Obama’s logic and offer an olive branch to his enemy, Sarah Palin?
He doesn’t even know her. He doesn’t even want to know her.

Jon Stewart, like Madonna, Colbert, Afleck and Damon(both from Boston), deosn’t understand why Palin and many”fly-over-staters” feel that way.
They feel that way because comedians and television shows written by us, the progressive Democrats,  have constantly belittled, mocked, ridiculed and sneered at their way of life and their values day in and day out 24/7 for as long as I can remember.
I wonder if Jon Stewart remembers Newton’s Third Law of Motion.
“To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
Their “small-town-values-are-the-best” mantra is just a reaction to our sneer. We’ve made them feel they have to defend their way of life and their values.
Our action (superiority complex, sneering their values) caused their reaction (counter superiority complex as defense mechanism).
In other words, it is our fault they feel that way. We caused this divide.
If we had shown them basic courtesy and respect, they wouldn’t have hardened their heart against us.

I have a friend, a Texan, who is proud to be a redneck.(“redneck” is like the n word. non-redneck should ever use this term) We have totally different values, but he is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and I like him and respect his values.
Jon Stewart lives in New York and he knows many people from different countries with various backgrounds. He’s an “adult” and he can agree to disagree. He’s so tolerant and inclusive that he even respects Palestinians’ right to revolt against Israel but he’s not tolerant enough to respect Republican values.
If only he had a friend, just one friend who is proud to be a “redneck”, he would probably understand their point of views and could feel some empathy and would be able to show some respect.
But Jon Stewart, like most of the liberal Democrat, lives within his comfort zone among like minded liberal Democrats.
Big city liberals laugh at small town Republicans who don’t have passports. They laugh at Texas and Alabama and say “Those states are like the third world.”
I beg your pardon?
Aren’t we the liberal progressives who want to respect and support the third world?
Where’s the sympathy? Now, who’s the small-minded biggot?

If Jon Stewart wants to mock intolerance and lack of respect towards different cultures/religions, he should start mocking  his own hypocrisy, his own intolerance towards evangelical Christians and his lack of respect towards small town values.

I just want to say to him:
Hath not a small-town Republican eyes? Hath not a small-town evangelical Christian hands,
organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions; hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, heal’d by the same means, warm’d and cool’d by the same winter and summer, as a Democrat is? If you prick him, does he not bleed? If you tickle him, does he not laugh? If you poison him, does she not die? And if you wrong him, does he not revenge? If he is like you in the
rest, he will resemble you in that.

I contacted several French language TV stations and newspapers in Switzerland and France, but they are not intereted in this story. Unfortunately the French media are just as biased as the American media, so please contact BBC, Times and ITN and some German media(much fairer when it comes to McCain than the French media) and ask them to investigate!

Everybody and their aunt is reporting that the RNC spent $150,000 on Palin’s wardrobe.
But they fail to mention that it will eventually bring in a lot of money for charity.

Before you talk about Palin’s wardrobe, you should look into Mrs. Obama’s salary. When was the last time Mr. Obama was under media scrutiny anyway?

If Palin were a liberal woman, NOW would be screaming “It’s part of her job to look good. Because women are often judged by their appearance.”

By now everybody knows that the organization NOW deosn’t support all women.
It only supports liberal women only when it’s convenient. (Liberal women working for Obama are paid less than men for the same work, but NOW doesn’t mind that fact.)
Its only goal is to make sure that abortion is legal.
It says it’s “pro-choice.”
Really?
It doesn’t support women who choose to have down syndrome babies.
It doesn’t support pregnant teens who choose to have their babies.
When the only choice it supports is abortion, when there’s no other choice, don’t you say in English, “We have no choice”?
It shouldn’t use the term pro-choice. It should come clean and let the world know that it is pro-abortion.
It shouldn’t be called the National Organization For Women either.
It may be called the National Organization for Liberal Women Who Support Abortion.
But since NOLWWSA is too long and unpronounceable, I  have a better name for it.
NOW should change it’s name to People Against Sarah and Trig = PAST.
